Endangered Encounters is dedicated to bringing you the most incredible experience of your life!  Swimming up close to these leviathans of the sea is truly amazing.  Some find it life changing!

We restrict our charters to small groups in order to bring you the most intimate and personalized encounters with whales.  These small groups have less impact on the whales and allow us to take the time to relax and not rush through the experience.  We do not harass the whales! During the months of June through November whales can be found in numbers throughout the Vava'u group. Weather permitting we will almost certainly see whales up close. Swimming however will take place only if conditions are right and the whales are receptive. This policy insures that the whales aren't unduly stressed and furthermore we have found that only receptive whales make for experiences that meet our quality and safety standards.   We strictly adhere to the Tongan Governments Whale Watching Guidelines. We recommend that you take a moment to familiarize yourself with them.

It is our belief that all people should have the opportunity to experience our planet's wonders and through this our hope is that the people we cater to will find a greater appreciation for our environment, conservation, and the efforts that are being made by organizations and people like ourselves to preserve our endangered wildlife. Eco-tourism is a way to make our precious bio diversity economically valuable and in so creating an impetus for responsible management and conservation of our planets resources and the environment as a whole.
